The advocacy campaign aims to enhance the transparency of use of public funds by managers and recipients of state and local budgets, entities of state and municipal property, and funds of obligatory state social insurance.
The fight against corruption can have prospects only on condition that in open access there is at least the minimum information on how the government manages public funds, that is funds of the citizens, all taxpayers.
Aims:
- To develop a draft of the Law “On the Open Use of Public Funds”.
- To create a nationwide coalition of NGOs “For the Open Use of Public Funds”.
- To establish an effective dialogue between representatives of the coalition “For the Open Use of Public Funds” and MPs, representatives of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Head of the Secretariat of a number of parliamentary committees.
