The project aims to increase the transparency and accountability of the Cabinet of Ministers by strengthening public control over its activities. Launch of “public audit” of the government will positively affect the overall efforts of civil society on public control over the authorities in Ukraine.
The low level of accountability, transparency and accessibility of the activity of government officials are among the most important problems of the political system in Ukraine. The result of this lack of transparency is increasing apathy and mistrust in the society.
Aims:
- To develop a methodology of expertise of the acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
- To inform the society about the conducted expertise and found violations.
- To inform the society about the activities of government officials.
