The aim of the project is to provide journalists, public activists, civil servants with necessary knowledge and skills regarding the effective implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information.”
After the adoption of the Law on Access the officials must be taught to use it professionally and activists and journalists have to keep track of how effectively the officials work during the implementation of the Law on Access.
Aims:
- To conduct training workshops, where the officials and the public will be acquainted with the provisions of the Law on Access.
Results:
- In 2012 eleven workshops for officials and activists were held.
- In 2014 a repeated series of seminars for officials was conducted.
