Throughout the seminars, lecturers shared their practical knowledge and skills in state politics, fighting corruption, communications for NGO’s, methods of running advocacy campaigns, organisation development etc.
In a three-day seminar, participants learned the crucial skills of advocacy, fundraising, writing project proposals. They also learned how to register a civil society organisation; how to work with media; how to effectively control the local authorities and make them implement the necessary changes.
After the seminars, some of the activists ran in local elections and won seats in local councils. By the end of 2015, the seminar attendees have already launched over 100 projects. The attendees argued that the knowledge and skills they received from the Eidos Centre experts were crucial in all of these projects.
